Walmart Land Purchase Advances Emmett’s Longhorn Station Development

Walmart has purchased nearly 20 acres between Highway 16 and 12th Street in Emmett for a planned store anchoring Longhorn Station, according to BoiseDev’s review of land records and developer materials. Rocky Mountain Companies says the addition will initiate the development’s second phase, including an initial segment of Foxfire Road and a new highway traffic signal. The developer also reports plans for a Walmart fuel station. For commercial property owners and investors, the project adds a significant anchor to watch as surrounding sites develop.
